Simple Grapefruit and Avocado Salad

A refreshing grapefruit avocado salad would make a welcome addition to your Thanksgiving spread. Or grill some shrimp and you have a tasty lunch!

This is the perfect time of year to enjoy grapefruit (the season is starting in Florida) so this recipe would be an especially pretty addition to your Thanksgiving spread. Just think how nicely a refreshing salad would help balance out the turkey, gravy, and other “heavy” dishes like casseroles and such that we’re so used to seeing (and look forward to!) on our holiday table.

Or, holidays aside, you could even add some cooked shrimp to this dish and call it a yummy and easy weeknight meal (or lunch). So many ways to enjoy!
