My kids love anything creamy – so much so they’ll even overlook the kale leaves in this dish. Normally they turn their noses up to kale salad, but not when it comes to this Creamy Kale Caesar Salad recipe. Score!

  1. I used to order a “Kale Caesar Salad” from a tiny salad spot on my breaks… It closed down and I miss it. They had fermented red onion and other little amazing details… maybe artichoke too? I can’t remember it all but I’ve been craving it so I’m glad I found this recipe. Simpler, but that just means I’ll be able to make it. Sounds amazing! Thank you.

  2. I really want to try this, but my son has nut allergies. I wonder if I can substitute some sort of seeds?

I just have to say, every Sunday when I ask my husband what he wants to eat for the next week, he always asks for this! I give this salad 5 stars.

I made this for lunch today. My husband and I really enjoyed it. The walnuts really make the salad great! Will be making it again!

  5. Thanks for this, Lisa. I have such a hard time getting my kids eat any vegetables other than green beans and peas (better than nothing). I’m a big fan of heavier greens like kale so this will work well.

    1. We hope your kids like it! Green beans and peas are great veggies ;). My son went through a phase of only eating broccoli. They eventually come around.

  6. hi:
From the picture it looks like you added grated Parmesan cheese and croutons on top. Is that correct? Do you make your own croutons or have you found a good store bought alternative?
    Thanks!
