This is one you want to keep warm though when serving to a crowd so I treated myself to the cutest little slow cooker to do just that! And you can actually cook the dip in there too. Just check it out in the background below …it’s okay to buy appliances just because they’re cute, right? Merry early Christmas to me. :) I hope you have as much fun with this one as I did! 1. 3 stars
We made this dip per instructions baking at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. Although the taste was good, the consistency was not. The sour cream curdled and dip became grainy. Always thought if sour cream comes to a simmer (or bubbly on top), it will curdle. Disappointed but husband says he’ll eat the remainder dip. Not sure how to rectify unless a slow cooker is used.

  2. This recipe looks great! I am new to clean eating. My husband and I are in our late 40’s and have to teen-age boys. With our crazy schedules since the kids were little tikes, we’re one of those family’s who is running to different practices, sporting events, band concerts, etc., and we are a house of fast-food junkies. I’m having trouble getting anyone else on board with me with the concept of clean eating. Me and my husband need to lose weight, and I keep telling the kids they will have more energy and perform better. After coming across your site this morning and looking at your recipes, I am now excited for this lifestyle change and am sure I can fix these recipes and keep everyone satisfied. My question to you is, when making some dishes, like this dip for example, in the photo it is served on crackers. What did your family eat this dip with instead of crackers (to stay away from non-processed foods)? Thank you for taking the time to read my long note!

  3. Looks delicious! I was just looking for a snack that doesn’t have sugar to serve at a little cookie decorating party. I wonder if I could sub the sour cream for Greek yogurt.? If I try, I’ll let you know how it works out :-p
