We love our readers and interacting with them, but with such a large audience we’re bound to ruffle some feathers from time to time. If we disturb you please know there are plenty of other places for you to go find like-minded people.

Absolutely blown away by how incredible these Air Fryer Chicken Breasts turned out ✨ The perfect combination of juicy and crispy each bite was a delightful sensation. The air fryer’s magic worked wonders, creating a golden brown crust that’s almost too good to be true. And the best part? No excessive oil or mess to deal with. This is definitely going to be a regular in my kitchen.

  3. Thank you Lisa for introducing me to real food!! Are there meal plans available to help me figure out how to lose weight using real foods? All my searches turn up clean eating diets that don’t include full fat dairy. I would like to know how many servings of each food group I should eat per day to lose weight, at around 2000 calories daily. I’d appreciate any help and direction. Thanks, Dusty B.

    1. Hi Dusty, thanks for reaching out. We don’t focus on weight loss, just the healthy benefits of eating real food (which could lead to some weigh loss). If weight loss is your ultimate goal, we would recommend finding a nutritionist or weight loss page to better help that need. – Nicole

I have a question about your free meal plans. I see that you are feeding a family of 4, but, for example, you are only buying 10 oz. of fish. Are your portions smaller than the recommended portions of 4oz person?
    Thank you,
    Katherine

Hi Katherine. It would depend on the recipe but generally 4oz is a good target for the meat/protein course.

  5. Hello there. You’ve performed an excellent job. I’ll certainly dig it and for my part recommend to my friends. I’m confident they’ll be benefited form this website

  6. I just found Cinnamon Hill and I’m getting into grating my own spices. I was wondering if there is a similar company or information on using ginger, clove, and nutmeg.

  7. Hi! I love this idea and would be very interested in more school lunch options! My problem is that my kids are allergic to both dairy and gluten. I saw that you offer filters and I got so excited to look through your gluten & dairy free options, but there were only two. That wouldn’t be as big of an issue if they didn’t both look like they wouldn’t filmy first grader up. He needs a substantial mid day meal and I am running out of protein idea that don’t make him feel like he’s just snacking. If I knew you had more options for me, I would order in a heart beat. 8. I just discovered you and have enjoyed the blog. I would like to know your opinion of Eden Foods out of Clinton MI.

  9. Hello, this question is regarding the piece you wrote on ultra pasteurization. I believe you said that organic valley used carrageenan in their ultra pasteurized products for stability. I looked on the labels of my organic milk and half and half which seem to always be UP and there was no carrageen listed. I won’t if I can help it, buy or use anything with carrageenan in it. Do they not list it as an ingredient?
    Thank you,
    Luciana

  10. I’m looking for a good deodorant for my husband and thought I remembered Lisa posting about what her husband likes to use? I can’t seem to find it. What deodorants do you recommend for the whole family? Thanks!

  11. Hi! I’m not sure if this is the appropriate place to ask a random question, but I did not see a “contact us” anywhere. I am wondering about the “natural flavors” in LaCroix sparkling water. Their website states “The flavors are derived from the natural essence oils extracted from the named fruit used in each of our LaCroix flavors. There are no sugars or artificial ingredients contained in, nor added to, these extracted flavors.”

It doesn’t state how the flavors are extracted, but as they are derived from essence oils are we ok?

    Thanks!

    1. Amy Taylor (comment moderator)

Hi there. Well, it is really hard to tell with “natural flavors”. I don’t buy the flavored stuff much at all anymore and instead just go with a squeeze of a lemon/lime/orange or a splash or 100% juice.

I was so impressed with your site and the content that I actually subscribed. This is the first time I have ever subscribed to anything on line.
A year ago I was involved in an accident and broke a couple of vertebrae in my lower back. With all the sitting around that I had to do I put on a few extra pounds.
Information in your site has me excited about losing a few pounds, getting in shape and eating healthier.
I am looking forward to this venture.

  13. Are you aware of any “lists” available regarding foods (whole or processed) that are genetically modified?

    Thank you!

    Wendy

  14. I am enjoying this site !, I have a question about the
    Yogurt/ Popsicle tubes…
How are you filling the yogurt into the tubes ?

  15. Do people really leave nasty inappropriate comments? I’ve never seen one or maybe I pay no attention because my crack-pot drama queen radar is very good. Love your site, your vision, your intention……

  16. Seems like no matter where you go on the internet, there are always those people who feel free to make snarky, sometimes downright viscous comments.

  17. I love the information, facts and tips that are presented on your site. I think it’s when the opinions get introduced that problems arise. I was just telling a friend today, before I saw this, that I was considering getting off your page because of the judgements expressed. I think it is awesome that you are informing the public about these chemicals and products being our food. I am a very healthful eater but I still feel “ashamed” at eating something after reading one or two of your posts and I should never feel that way. Just present the facts and I will be a faithful follower!

    1. oh boy – I messed up! This isn’t the site I was meaning to post on. Sorry. But I do love your content. I have nothing at all to say!

  18. I am not able to comment at all on your site, so unless that is restored, i will leave the page. I am a respectful fb user, and do not engage in, or tolerate rudeness, and name calling.
